Communications and Marketing Assistant This person would contact existing clients
for routine service reasons (not having a licence there is no actual selling involved).
They would prepare and assemble marketing materials and customer files to assist
in preparing for client–financial planner meetings and seminars. He/she would also
keep hard copy filing and computer software up-to-date for three agents. Their time
each week would be blocked off so they would be working for one agent at a time.
There is opportunity for advancement.
This would be about ½ time to start and could develop into full time over the course
of several months.
Experience is preferred, but not necessary. Training in office environment is preferred
but not necessary. Experience in dealing with the public is preferred also. A good
telephone voice and mannerism is important.

This is a salaried career position for someone who is dissatisfied with their current
employment. They would need to study and acquire their life insurance licence so
as to be able to provide a complete service and sales to existing clients when their
agent is unavailable. Their main function would be to work with three experienced
agents in researching the best products to fill client needs, keeping product information
current. In addition to assisting these agents in their life insurance needs this
employee may be expected to further study (courses would be paid for them) to become
a Registered Health Underwriter. Once they became a health insurance specialist
they would then work with these agent’s clients to make sure their health and critical
illness needs are properly filled.

Coming soon is another salaried position as a Financial Planner Trainee. The situation
is similar to the above, except the direction would be to study for their Certified
Financial Planning designation. The end goal of this position would be to be working
on financial plans for individuals 66% of the time. The remainder would involve
communicating with these clients.
